Hummingbird Nectar Recipe

Instructions: Boil the Water: Bring the water to a boil. This helps to dissolve the sugar and remove any impurities.

Add Sugar Stir in the sugar while the water is still hot, and continue to stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Cool the Mixture:  Allow the sugar water to cool to room temperature before filling your hummingbird feeders.

Important Tips: Do Not Use Honey, Brown Sugar, or Artificial Sweeteners: These can be harmful to hummingbirds. Stick to plain white granulated sugar.

Avoid Red Food Coloring: It's unnecessary and can be harmful. Most feeders have red parts that attract hummingbirds.

Clean Feeders Regularly To prevent mold and harmful bacteria, clean your feeders thoroughly with hot water and a brush every few days, more frequently in hot weather.
